St. Mary's Church in Gdańsk

Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Gdańsk, is one of the most important late Gothic buildings in Poland. This Roman Catholic church is now the largest brick church on the Baltic coast. With its volume between 185,000 m3 and 190,000 m3, it is currently one of the two or three largest brick churches in the world.

Scope and type of the restoration works included:

  • Comprehensive lime and trass mortars to restore brick facades of the tower, and of the church’s body.
  • Factory-prepared, in colour and in the appropriate grain, lime and trass joints, brick putties, mortars and renders
  • Application of the specially prepared coloured joints, mortars and reprofiling mortars.
