The Grand Theatre in Warsaw

The Grand Theatre in Warsaw is the most magnificent edifice of Classicist architecture in Poland. It was built in the years 1825-1833 to a design by Antonio Corazzi. The eastern part of the theatre was added in the early 19th century, designed by Piotr Aigner. After World War II, it was rebuilt and enlarged. The theatre has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Scope and type of the restoration works included:

  • Comprehensive technology to renovate western facade.
  • Application of the lime and trass render for coatings, and silicate facade paints.
